A highly regarded artist, Sharon Core is an American photographer born in 1965. For art critics, the question arises of the veil that sometimes separates or subtly links photography and painting. She is said to be inspired by Raphaelle Peale, a 19th century still life painter, but also by Wayne Thiebaud, a contemporary painter associated with the Pop Art movement.
