Keiichi Tahara
Keiichi Tahara moved to Paris in 1973. After making short films in Japan, he opted for an approach to photography in which the play of light and shadow as much as the materials and textural effects are privileged.
“To photograph the newly built winery, it was a natural fit.”
Considered one of the great architectural photographers, he has produced designs for various countries and major museums. He was awarded the Nicéphore Niepce prize in 1988 and the Grand Prix de la Ville de Paris in 1995.
