Beatrice Caracciolo
An Italian national, Beatrice Caracciolo studied from 1976 to 1979 in New York, at the New York and Columbia universities.
“A painter and at times a photographer, she presents her work to the public in the 1990s. The cultural scene welcomes her warmly, mainly for exhibitions in Paris and New York.”
In 2010, after a first photograph for the ‘Regards sur Lafite’ collection in 2006, it is her photograph of the majestic cedar of Château Lafite Rothschild – before the 1999 storm – that illustrates the Domaines’ greeting card.
2010 is also a great year for Beatrice Caracciolo, the painter. Indeed, the Academy of France in Rome organised the exhibition ‘Tumulti’ of all of Caracciolo’s work at the Villa Medici, from January 24 to March 14, 2010.
