Lafite, Temple of classical music for two nights!

On the occasion of the music festival “Les Estivales”, Lafite received on July 1st two young talented internationally known pianists: Cédric Tiberghien and Bertrand Chamayou, both winners in 1998 and 2001 of the international prize Marguerite Long-Jacques Thibaud. The evening was the occasion to hear the Bofill cellar filled with the wonderful music of Mozart, Brahms and Debussy.

On July 4th, it was the turn of two string quartets both winners of the international competition 2003 organized by the city of Bordeaux. The quartets Aviv (Israel) and Ebène (France), each played Haydn, Chostakovitch and Prokoviev, and then played together Mendelssohn, delighting the lucky audience of music lovers in the splendid circular cellar of Chateau Lafite!
