Réserve, Médoc
Vintage 2007
After a miserable summer with little sunshine, September and October were amazingly hot and dry, saving the vintage and erasing the ill-fated effects of the poor summer. This unexpected arrival of good weather was of great advantage to the Cabernet Sauvignon. More than ever, the quality of the terroir, the careful tending of the vines and strict selection during the harvests were crucial in making good wines.
Nice deep crimson colour with tile-red highlights.
Charming nose with morello cherry, dried fruits (almonds) and leather.
On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and well-balanced, with volume, integrated tannins and a long finish accompanied by liquorice notes.
