Château Lafite Rothschild
Accompanied by soft-centered chocolate cake, vanilla ice cream

Ingredients
- 140g dark chocolate, good quality
- 135g butter
- 140g sugar
- 125g eggs
- 60g flour (sieved)
- vanilla ice cream
- 500ml milk
- 4 egg yolks
- 125g sugar
- 1 vanilla bean (pod)
For 4 persons
The recipe:
Melt butter and chocolate. Thoroughly whisk egg yolks and sugar, pour chocolate over the mixture. Gently add flour. Pour into buttered and floured moulds
Vanilla ice cream:
Boil milk, let vanilla bean (pod) infuse in milk. Whisk egg yolks and sugar until
thick then stir in hot milk. Heat gently, cook until slightly thickened. Chill the mixture and place ice
cream machine to churn.
Cooking :
Cook the cake 10 minutes in an oven heated to 180°C
unmold, place on plate with a quenelle of vanilla ice cream
Serve with a Chateau Lafite Rotshschild around 20 years old
