Las Huertas
Colchagua
Vintage 2010
The winter was characterized by a rainfall deficit (463 mm as compared to 726 mm in the previous season). However, controlled irrigation helped to avoid any adverse effects.
The spring was cold during the blooming period, which resulted in less berries per bunch. Consequently, the yield was roughly 15% below the annual average (8.5 ton/ha vs. 10 ton/ha), however this resulted in the grapes having remarkable concentration and balance.
Bright ruby red colour. Remarkably expressive, fruity nose: aromas of blueberries, cherries, blackcurrants and raspberries blending perfectly with notes of pink pepper, paprika, curry and saffron.
Velvety, full-bodied and seductive in the mouth with mild acidity and gentle tannins giving very pleasant mouthfeel.
