Amancaya
Mendoza
Vintage 2008
2008 began with cold and rain from February to the end of March. Fortunately, good management of the Malbec vineyard resulted in a harvest that was perfectly healthy and ripe. The Cabernet Sauvignon from cooler areas experienced some difficulties due to early frost. Consequently, part of the Cabernet Sauvignon was declassified.
Deep purple-red colour. Fruit driven wine, with appealing red and black cherry flavours, blackcurrant and plums with a hint of vanilla and cedar. On the palate it has a nice tannic texture, round and well-balanced.
Notes of vanilla and chocolate coming from the French oak.
