And the beginning of planting in China !
The Peninsula Penglai project (Shandong province) is taking shape.
In the vineyard, 2010 was devoted to analysing the soil and subsoil, to earthworks and to the reconstruction of the terraces. 2011 saw the planting of the first grafted plants, mainly Cabernet Sauvignon that were planted in May.
Regarding the winery, the plans are now complete and construction should be starting very soon.
This is such an interesting challenge that the project has already become a priority for our technical team. However, we will have to wait a few more years to taste the first wines!
