Château Paradis Casseuil
Entre Deux Mers
Vintage 2008
Final quantities were affected by severe winter frosts, and then an early bud burst, which were unfortunately damaged by spring frosts. The vine-growing season was a difficult period with numerous light showers turning the care of the vineyard into a very delicate operation. Then September arrived with some beautifully sunny days, resulting in great satisfaction combined with surprise at the appearance of some very interesting balances fairly quickly in the tanks at the end of maceration, with excellent expressions of tannin and fruit, supported by a marked acidity.
Very intense nose with a mixture of elegant fruitiness and splendid freshness.
In the mouth, the attack is rounded and hearty with prolonged red fruit and wild berries.
A wine to be drunk now or kept for three to four years.
