Held in New-York every year, by the end of October, the New York Wine Experience is a “three-day celebration of great wine” organized by the Wine Spectator’s Magazine: its purpose is to offer the consumer a unique occasion to taste the greatest wines produced in the world.
This year, Baron Eric de Rothschild took part to the event as a “Wine Star” and presented to the participants the 2003 vintage of Château Lafite Rothschild.
As the Wine Spectator resumed, “The Baron delighted the crowd with stories of his mischievous youth, British trade unions, Greta Garbo and his favourite daily wine as he poured the classic 2003 Lafite at this year’s Wine Experience”.
The Grand Tasting also offered the consumer an occasion to taste Lafite 2004, thanks to the presence and wonderful animation of the booth by DBR US importer, Pasternak, and its team: a special thank you to Susan-Anne Cosgrove (Pasternak’s Director of Public Relations) and Cédric Villars, (DBR Brand Manager) for their enthusiasm in pouring the wines !

Baron Eric de Rothschild was also surprised before his talk by a video clip dating back to the 1982 edition of the New York Wine Experience.
