Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) and AdVini sign an exclusive distribution agreement for France, Belgium and Luxembourg
As from 1 July 2015, Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) has entrusted AdVini with exclusive distribution in France, Belgium and Luxembourg, in all channels including travel retail, of its Bordeaux brands Légende and SAGA as well as those of Domaine d’Aussières, the jewel of the Corbières.
According to Christophe SALIN, Chairman of DBR Distribution: “AdVini was the natural choice for the development of our French brands thanks to the quality of its teams, its knowledge of the trade in the Languedoc as well as in Bordeaux, and the know-how of its sales force established in all distribution channels and specialising in the sales of French terroir wines.”
For Antoine LECCIA, Chairman of AdVini, “The distribution agreement between AdVini and Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) demonstrates the relevance of the model combining the remarkable historical know-how of DBR in producing wines of excellence with that of AdVini in selective distribution, always concerned with adding value to wines with a strong identity. Further, the DBR wines perfectly complete our portfolio, from our Bordeaux subsidiary Antoine MOUEIX Propriétés which has more than 350 hectares of vineyards in the Médoc and Saint-Emilion, and Vignobles JEANJEAN in the Corbières.”
With 2 071 hectares of vineyard, based in the most famous French terroirs such as Châteauneuf-du-Pape with OGIER and the Clos de L’Oratoire des Papes, in Saint-Emilion and in the Médoc with Antoine MOUEIX Propriétés, in Chablis and the Languedoc with LAROCHE, in the Languedoc with Vignobles JEANJEAN, in Provence with GASSIER, in Cahors with RIGAL, in Roussillon with CAZES and Les Clos de Paulilles, AdVini is the benchmark for quality French wines.
Its wine companies are constantly increasing in fame and recognition, resulting in exports to 106 countries in 2014.
AdVini is also active in New World wines with Viña Casablanca in Chile, a 150 hectare property in partnership with Santa Carolina, and in South Africa with L’Avenir, a wine tourism property of 70 hectares.
